Scope of Services
CheckPoint® contracts its physician credentials verification services on a customized basis and can offer its clients any or all of the following services, based on their needs:
  Electronic Application Submission Through a Secure Web Site
   
Clients have the option of having their practitioner applicants submit their credentials verification applications/re-applications online through a secure web site.
  Mailing and Tracking of Paper Credentialing Applications
   
If a client requires a specific application or state mandated form, CheckPoint offers customized paper submission credentials management services, by mail or fax.
  Credentials Verification Application & Client Checklist Completion
   
CheckPoint staff ensures that all credentials verification applications are completed and all client checklist items are collected. We take care of the entire process for you.
  Primary Source Verification Through Approved Sources
   
CheckPoint supports all nationally recognized sources for primary source credentials verification. Clients may choose which of our approved sources is utilized.
  Use of Available Electronic Credentials Verification Sources
   
CheckPoint has access to all approved electronic primary source database credentials verification sources. Clients may choose which of our approved sources is utilized.
  Tracking for Expired Credentials Documents
   
CheckPoint can monitor for expiring credentials documents on a monthly basis.
  Automatic Replacement of Expired Credentials Documents
   
CheckPoint can automatically collect, verify and replace all expired documents in clients' credentials files.
  Ongoing Electronic Monitoring of Licensure and OIG Sanctions
   
CheckPoint can electronically monitor incoming sanctions from licensure boards and/or the Office of the Inspector General (OIG).
  Reporting of Monitored Sanctions
   
CheckPoint clients can elect to receive reports of monitored sanctions.
  Electronic Online Access to Practitioner Status Reports
   
CheckPoint clients are able to securely view a practitioner status while in process, via a web-based protocol.
  Partial Processing of Initial or Re-Applications for Credentialing
   
CheckPoint can perform only a part of the credentialing process if necessary. We always work with our clients to provide the services that they require.
  Ad Hoc Reporting
   
CheckPoint's technical staff can assist clients with special ad hoc reporting, as needed.
  Expedited Rush Services
   
CheckPoint staff can expedite specific applications, upon clients' request.
  Credentialing Program Consulting
   
CheckPoint senior management can provide valuable input into your credentialing program design, perform assessments of client programming, and assist with identifying problem areas.
  Regulation Compliance Consulting
